Privacy Policy

This page explains what data Sharpyard (sharpyard.dev) collects and how it is used. Sharpyard is an independent software project operated by a developer registered as an autónomo (sole trader) in Spain. Questions: hello@sharpyard.dev.

What we collect

• Your email address, only if you join the waitlist or reserve a founding seat. It is stored on our own self-hosted email server (Listmonk) and used solely to email you about Sharpyard. We never sell, rent, or share it.
• Aggregated usage analytics via Google Analytics 4, to understand which pages are useful. This data is high-level and not used to identify you. Any tracker blocker will stop it.
• Purchase details, if and when paid products become available. Payments are handled by our Merchant of Record (Polar) and its payment processor (Stripe), which collect the billing information needed to complete the sale and remit tax. We never see or store your full card details.

Why we process it

Your email is processed on the basis of your consent. Purchase data is processed to perform the contract of sale. Analytics is processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in improving the site, and can be blocked at any time.

Who we share it with

Only the providers needed to run the site: our self-hosted email (Listmonk, on our own server), Google Analytics, and, for purchases, our Merchant of Record (Polar) and Stripe. We do not sell your data or use it for third-party advertising.

Your rights

You can access, correct, export, or delete your data, and object to its processing, at any time. You can unsubscribe from emails with one click in any message, or by emailing hello@sharpyard.dev. If you are in the EU/EEA, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority (in Spain, the AEPD).

Data retention

We keep your email until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Purchase records are kept as required by law and by our Merchant of Record.

Cookies

The site sets no advertising cookies. Google Analytics sets its own analytics cookies; blocking them does not affect the site.

International transfers

Some providers (such as Google) may process data outside the EU under standard safeguards.
